Our strategic plan for 2021-2024: Beyond summer
At Horizons at SFFS, we took a year to evaluate our core programming and set goals for the future through an extensive strategic planning process. We surveyed Horizons families, staff, board members, and other supporters to identify the values that ground our work and to reframe our mission, vision, and core strategies. We are proud to share the results with you.

Mission
Horizons at SFFS provides joyful academic and enrichment experiences that build on the strength and talents of San Francisco's public school students.
We Named our core Strategies
2021-2024: LAUNCHING YEAR-ROUND AND HIGH SCHOOL SUPPORTS
Through our strategic planning process, we determined that over the next three years we want to expand our program to: 1) provide continuity of year-round academic and enrichment opportunities and 2) provide exposure and access to college and career possibilities. To accomplish this, we plan to prioritize building partnerships that support our vision and nurturing spaces that elevate our families' voices, foster connections, and celebrate the strength of our community.
In 2021-2022, we launched:
Virtual 1:1 tutoring for students in 3rd-8th grade
Academic parent workshops + high school application support
Resource fair for families to sign up for extracurricular programs
