Children in San Francisco’s public school system are more likely to experience cumulative “summer learning loss”— falling behind on reading and mathematics skills over summer break — as a result of systemically limited access to high-quality summer programs.
Horizons at SFFS works with students who attend Mission District public schools to provide them with a high-quality, full day summer option at no cost to their family from Kindergarten through 8th grade and into high school.
